taylor warren

The first part in my blogger portraits series! It's nowhere as good as Danny Roberts, the king of portraits, but I'm quite proud of this one. Taylor Warren ended up looking a bit too fierce, but it's a good kind of womanly confident fierce, which frankly I think I need more of. I'm nearly finished with my second one, that'll be up here shortly too. Tell me what you think of this one!

Sorry for the inconsistent posting. It's just that this week has been so distractingly good :] I'm watching New Moon tonight; and I'll have loads of fun making fun of Jacob (so not hot I think) and Edward (eww!)

glitterdust

These photos are from last year's fashion gala. The first photo is of my friend sophie. I did her makeup (theme: ice queen) and did a photoshoot with her. She's one of the awesome photographers behind my pictures... and she's a pretty rad model too, don't you think?

I'm meeting him at london's dorchester hotel

There's something so ethereal and dreamy about these pictures. When I look at them, I feel transported to a lazy sunday afternoon, with nothing but time on my hands and life ahead. So magical. What do you think of when you see these pictures? Have a lovely weekend :)

Goodbye

RIP Daul. She was only 20 and was such an inspiring woman. I am sad that such a great model with such an inspiring personality is gone. She posted a last blog post on the 18th of November. Say hi to forever

Rubber Ducks

This rubber duck artpiece is dedicated to those of you who suggested I post more artwork :) hope they cheer you up the way they cheer some people up in the bathtub! It's inspired by Andy warhol's green coco cola bottles piece, which I was quite fascinated by for a while. Now I'm into portraits of people. Maybe I'll even be doing some portrait illustrations of my readers, yes you :) Not that I'll be anywhere near as great as Igor&Andre. But one can dream...

stand and deliver

Lately, I've been finding more and more pictures I'd completely forgotten about, buried in all my unorganized folders. These are from 2 months ago, when it was still so warm. Sorry for the shitty face expression!

The third picture is an oil painting I did more than two years ago. I painted it in artclass from a decollage I made. the dominant woman in the picture is supposed to be Courtney Love (faiiil I know!) I'm currently working on a charcoal portrait of Natasha Poly in artclass and can't wait to show you the end result!

Now that its winter and I don't like outfit pictures indoors that much and I don't want to keep posting up pictures of me in various boring coats, my outfit posts will be less frequent. I'll try to make up for that though. Is there anything you'd like to see more of in my blog? Any suggestions or idea would be great!

BTW the title is from my favourite song atm, Stand and Deliver by No Doubt

Black and white is like night is to light

Yes, my film-photo effect phase is still going strong! I've been snapping away like crazyy with the camera i found a couple days ago. I can't wait to develop them and show them to you! Tomorrow is my school's 25 year anniversary and I'm supposed to take photos of the event, because I'm on the photo-team of our yearbook. Apparently Vienna's president is coming. So naturally I'm so excited! Not.

Because everyone's been sick and H1N1 aka swine flu has been scaring everyone, I got a hand sanitizer that smells like cherry blossoms! Now I can smell my favourite scent from my favourite season anytime :)
What is your favourite season?

Walking with a ghost

I've been really uninspired lately, so I'm posting these photomanips I made a couple months ago. I went crazy with this whole ghostly effect, as you can see haha.

Today was a drag and at the end of it, I was so K-to-the-O. In art class, I made a couple monographs for the first time, and its so much fun! It's a combination of oil painting and printing and creates some pretty rad pictures. Well, at least i think lol. What did you all do today?

tumbling

Some photos from my inspiration folder. Tumblr is such a great way to find beautiful pictures! Today I woke up at 6am, and started reading a new romance book, and theeen...discovered an old Canon SLR film camera in a random box! Now I'm snapping away. My dream is to produce pictures are lovely as these. Have a lovely weekend everyone!

my delirium

Film photography is a) too much of a hassle and b) too much strain on my purse, so I've been trying to edit my photos so they have that film-photography look. This is the first batch. I think I pretty much failed. Does anyone have any good tips on how to edit pictures to make them like that? Like real authentic film-like?

School just started again so I feel bleeeech. plus the color of the sky resembles old over-used dirty socks (in other words gray gray and gross) so i feel even more bleech. on a more positive note, today I got tickets to the All Time Low concert in february! Oh and quote of the day:

"I can resist everything except temptation" - Oscar Wilde
