I wanna feel weightless and that should be enough

We are official this close to spring. I woke up today to birds chirping and the sun shining, had an elaborate breakfast and then wrote my chinese essay listening to the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack. Good start to the weekend? I think so! [photos from spring 2009]

I've scanned some pages from my artbook to show you; they're all little experimental things. I've also been practicing my portrait techniques so that when I'm done with all my four essays for next week (yikes), I can continue on my blogger portrait series! See if you recognize some of the girls here:

Checkered

Another simple school outfit. Sorry for the bore; my excuse is that I'm sick and that its burning away the few style-brain cells I own teehee. Thanks to all of you who suggested magazine names for me! I've finally decided what to call it: Kneon. I love the sound of it and am praying to Google that there isn't already a magazine called that.

Zara t-shirt, H&M jeggings, Levi's shoes, Zara shirt

Today I went shopping and had a huge haul at H&M and Zara (like always). The new Blue collection at H&M is amazing; I wanted to buy every single piece but really had to restrain myself. I also bought some plain white t-shirts and cotton tote bags, so I can start printing my own designs onto them - can't wait to start DIYing!

Stripes x Pegasus

After a couple of long weeks, where I seemed to have oil paint everywhere, I've finally finished my painting! I'm really happy with how it is now. Her face is a little too avatar-blue, but I can live with that; I'll just tell people it's supposed to create a chilling effect haha!

On another note, I've decided to feature some stylish people I know here, since some of them have such inspiring styles that I can't help but share. My first victim is Philipp here:

He's planning on studying theatre and is easily the most stylish boy I know, so definitely expect more features on him in the future! Aren't his shoes delicious? They're from the JeremyScottxAdidas collection, which he got in New York. I think Pegasus would approve.

A typical school-outfit of mine i.e. I don't go too over-the-top with accessorizing and handbags eeteecee. I haven't worn a proper backpack in ages so I thought I'd take my monkey [bag] out for a walk. It's so preschool - I love it, because it makes me feel so small. Eugh and please don't mention the knot in my shirt. It was another one of my bad fashion decisions.

Welcome to the dollhouse, baby

Alice and Camilla came over the other day and we applied over-the-top makeup and pranced around to rock songs. You can see my DIY sequined camera! The look on Alice is inspired by this f/w 2010 runway look (digging the eyebrows?) and Camilla's was inspired by creepy dolls in general. Mine was a bit of a mess so I'm not quite sure what it is, perhaps a Gaga-geisha mix.

Announcement: I've decided to start my own online magazine! The whole concept is still not clear yet, but I'm thinking of focusing on art, photography, music and personal style. My main problem right now is: What should the title of my magazine be? I've thought of a few, but I'm not completely happy with them: Mossh, Glint, Kneon, Nudelips. Any suggestions? I'd love to hear!

Laughing on the way to the hospital

Today was really great! Most probably because I was wearing my All Time Low concert tee :) Today I woke up pretty late, read Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut and tried to decide what kind of hairstyle i should get, since I'm getting it cut next week. Any suggestions? Then in the afternoon I went to chinese school and met some friends who had just returned from exchanges in Dublin and the US.

It wasn't that cold today, so I eased up on the layers. I'm wearing my ATL concert tee, jeggings, H&M blazer, Sisley jacket, my cashmere scarf and Doc Martens. And of course my favorite accessory, my skullcandies :)

BTW I just started using twitter again - follow me here!

Caroline

The unbeatably stylish Caroline Blomst created 14 looks with 14 items and she's giving her readers a chance to win one of those looks! All her creations are amazing, but this look is definitely my favourite. From the perfect little black leather jacket to the tempting peep toes, I think this look is absolutely perfect. I love the balance of casual (the striped shirt) and flirty-ness (the mini dress); and this is exactly my style! I tend to wear flowy dresses with sneakers, mini-skirts with over-size tshirts... so I think this look would really suit me :)

Here, here and here

Yes, I'm listening to Meg & Dia! Their latest album is amazing. Love the beats and the tunes. Plus, their voices are amazing! These are a bunch of photos from last spring/summer. My break is going really well - today i slept until twelve, had some hot chocolate, read some magazines and then had a long bath. Then i spent the rest of my afternoon looking at videos of All Time Low on youtube. I will never be able to get over Jack Barakat. That guy is simply amazing. I'm definitely infuated.

p.s. I totally forgot that its Fasching/carnival today! I so don't have the energy to dress up. What are you dressing up as?

All Time Low

The All Time Low concert on the 13th was absolutely amazing. The whole band was inspiring and so fun and cute. Their performance made me laugh and I nearly died (literally - there was a huge moshpit and my friend was squashed beneath like 5 guys) but it was so worth it. I kind of established myself as the "weird asian girl" at the Meet and Greet, and they actually remembered me when we met them after the concert! Jack, the guitarist, was so sweet. Seriously, I can't look at the boys at school anymore. I just want him. Plus he gave me the tomato with the smiley on it :) Alex, the leadsinger, was also so nice! I took so many photos with him and he didn't even mind! I'm so obsessed right now.

Then yesterday for Valentine's day I watched Valentine's Day with my friend. It's such a brill movie. If you haven't watched it yet, go watch it NOW! Seriously. It'll blow your mind. Plus, practically everyone plays in it and its the sweetest love movie since Love Actually.
