to lose all my senses, that's just typically me

Top and leggings courtesy of CTRL clothing. Zara wedges. American Apparel scarf. H&M bag.

Yes - it's those notorious wedges that have been popping up on like every single blog! They're incredibly comfy though and actually lift me up quite a bit. Anyway, did anyone catch the latest Glee episode with Britney? I thought it was so good! I'll always love her. She was actually the first artist I worshiped and I know every single one of her songs by heart. True story.

vienna fashion week - the last

On Saturday I attended my two last shows at vienna fashion week. During the first one, I didn't manage to get such good shots, but for Ep Anoui I snapped a couple that turned out alright. The designs were immaculate, casual and dreamy; on top of that, they all looked incredibly comfy, which is definitely more than could be said than some designs that i saw in the past week (rubber tube dress? Seriously?)

The innovator behind the label - Eva Poleschinski. She somehow reminds me of a younger and more feminine Kate Lanphear. Gotta love that androgynous cut.

A beautiful dog that I simply had to camwhore with.

At the exhibiting areas, I met Sabinna from the blog Broken Cookies with her mother. That girl is simply beyond pretty, with the most creative style and sweet personality. Go check out her blog; she mixes art, fashion and photography and has the most innovative little illustrations.

And my face is seriously too versatile. On one photo it resembles a watermelon and then in another it looks like a creepy zombie dude. I thought it'd be entertaining to show you that's all. Anyway, this is about it for Vienna Fashion Week. It was a good week - I'm really happy that i had the chance to attend these shows. won't be there for next year's round, since I'll be studying in London, but who knows - maybe LFW?

vienna fashion week - the second

american apparel pants. sheer black tee courtesy of CTRL clothing. zara heels. dayoung's bag.

I went to see the Tiberius and Superated shows yesterday with my favourite korean girl. Afterwards, we roamed around the exhibition areas, where i fell in love with a monkey ring and snapped some streetstyle photos. today i attended vfw for the last time, since tomorrow will be a major assignment-cramming day; the coming weeks won't be much of a giggle. hope you're all having a better saturday with not as much rain!

i hear you call my name and it feels like home

Long weekend coming up, and all I'm going to do is catch up on series (himym, vampire diaries, lost, glee), go to a party, see some shows at vfw and sleep a lot. oh, and finish off my bajillion assignments for school, which should be so thrilling. not really. Anyway, tell me some funny things that happened to you this week? I like stawries.

vienna fashion week - l'oreal insider event

All photos by me

Last night I attended the L'Oreal professional event, where styling teams from magmaier, bertram k, and ultimative group presented new cuts and designs on models on the runway. the demonstrations were followed by a fashion show featuring the finished hairstyles.

On the way out, i managed to snap a couple of outfit photos of girls standing outside the tent. One of them happened to be a model from the show (which should have been obvious since she had one of those effortless off-duty model styles) and when her friends came out, i had a nice chat with them about modeling and afterparties. i'm the dwarfy little asian kid in the photo haha. anyway, definitely looking forward to the rest of the shows this week.

p.s. to see the show from another perspective, visit hanna at h.anna

day dream

floral skirt from korea (a present from a friend). hm white tee. zara cardigan. doc martens. marithe francois girbaud tights. nike bag.

Photo credits to my friend nat who helped me snap these photos when we went shopping on friday. we went straight after school, so my makeup was gone and i was beyond fatigued. so yeah. that's the excuse for my crappy face expression in most of the photos. some of you asked me if i really wear glasses, and the answer is yes! I used to wear contacts every single day, but I got tired of them and some black frames seemed to be a pretty good alternative for school days. oh and please vote for me in the h&m competition if you haven't already! it'll make me very happy. hope you're all having a good sunday!

edit - i had no idea what to call this post until giselle suggested it in her comment. thanks, it fits perfectly!

feeling snuggly

mango top. hm jeggings and hoodie.

Today I decided that i don't have enough huge hoodies; the one in the photos is way too minute for me, so today i went shopping and reserved quite a few guy's oversized ones. I can't wait to pick them up, wear them and live in them! So yeah, be warned - tons of hoodie-filled outfit posts coming up! Oh and while shopping, i saw a really sweet boy. he had hair the color of a golden retriever and had a smiling face. wish i could have had the chance to talk to him but ah well. people come and go.

got time to wander, to waste and to whine

crop sweater courtesy of warmpixie. simple ballerinas. zara skirt. hm tights and scarf.

An incredibly cosy and very simple school outfit. today on the way to school, my tram was taking ages, so i went to the grocery store and got some cans of Burn. by the time i got to the station, the tram was just coming. newest waiting-for-the-bus strategy? i think so!

nice and shiny

hm dress and blazer. zara clogs. necklace from beijing. rayban sunnies.

I have mixed feelings about this little metallic piece. it's sparkly and pretty and all, but it's definitely too costumy to wear out. my mom's birthday dinner was this weekend, so i managed to try it out with my favourite crazy blazer and crazy roaring tiger brooch. oh and my new clogs from zara! they're amazingly comfy, but they make me realize that i definitely need to practice walking in heels a bit more. on another note, school's getting pretty hectic, which naturally means that i will blogging a whole lot more. can't wait for vienna fashion week!
