Some readers asked to see the results of the shoot i had with my sister, so here are a couple of my favourite shots. she was lolling around the house and i was procrastinating. so, makeup-less and in her comfy sheep-cardigan, she posed for me. her name's maggie, she's 12 and quite the fail at comebacks. she's also one of the major photographers for my blog. anyway, off to celebrate my dad's birthday now. have a nice evening!

This post really should be called 'Hiding Your Cheek Bruise 101' because that's what i've become quite efficient at. wish my wisdom teeth would stop haunting my gums already! anyway, these days i've been working on updating my wardrobe and bought many pieces i really like. hopefully i'll be able to show you some of them soon. yesterday i met up with a good friend visiting from cyprus who i haven't seen in over six years. a massive shout-out to Danae and her cousin Nepheli, who is probably responsible for half my readership in vienna :)

This is the second dress I received from Clubcouture. It's not something i'd usually wear, since the cut-out is a little too abstract for me, but it's got a nice shape and the material is really soft and comfortable. Which reminds me that i should not buy scratchy pullovers. Never ever. Anyway, today i finally watched Toy Story 3 and it's seriously just as good as the first two, a pretty impressive feat considering that most number 3's are beyond crap and make you feel sad for the characters you once loved in your childhood. Aand i'm getting carried away here with my emotional attachments to living toys so i'll leave it at that.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas eve! I did a mini-photoshoot with my sister since she insisted she needed a new facebook profile picture, and my mom cooked a delicious meal. I got such lovely presents, including a Bobbi Brown professional brush kit and this leather shoulder chain bag. I now want to hear about your Christmas! What did you get? What foods did you eat?

Happy Christmas everyone! I got two of my wisdom teeth pulled out on tuesday so I haven't really been in the mood to update. I did, however, manage to catch up on movies I've always wanted to watch, and also do all my christmas shopping. Hope you all get awesome presents and celebrate well!

Sailor girl

i was contacted by the brand ClubCouture a while ago, and since there's a club in vienna with the same name i was a little wary at first. however, it turned out to be an international fashion label mainly based in the UK and Australia, featuring many classy and sweet pieces. i chose a couple of dresses, including this little sailor number. while a little too mini to wear as a just a dress, it's still adorable and works well with funky tights and leggings. i purposely strayed away from red to avoid the whole stereotypical 'sailor' look.

i have no idea how i'm going to keep up outfit photos when it's freezing outside and i'm tired as an ant when i get home. but yeah, these were some absolutely necessary frolicking-in-the-snow shots taken by my dear old nat. this week has been exhausting and you seriously have no idea how happy i am to curl up in bed and just watch vampire diaries and detective conan. heaven!

Oxford photodiary

i actually got back tuesday morning, but there was our school's fashion gala, then the MGMT concert, so i was just too sleep-deprived to update. oxford was brilliant! and the university was equally lovely. some quick shots i took during my 36 or so hours there.



the college i was allocated to and stayed at for the one night. really modern architecture with a series of unique and serious-looking dorm areas. i still remain thoroughly confused about how to use british taps.

I was invited for an interview at Oxford University some weeks ago, and tomorrow I'm finally flying over. I'm so so nervous, but i'm also really looking forward towards the process and getting a feel of oxfordian life. let's see how this turns out! see you next week xx

today's quite relaxing, since i have a half day and coincidentally have all my frees in the morning. i've been reading pygmalion for english and i absolutely love henry higgins. he's such a bully but so adorable and kind! on another note, this huge scarf will be my best friend this winter, since - although it makes me look like an aged persian librarian at times (see last photo) - it keeps me unbelievably warm. so warm that it i think it could suffocate me; that is if my five layers of pullovers haven't gotten to me first.
