Happy belated easter everyone! I don't celebrate it but i obviously ate way too much chocolate. One more week until my final IB exams start and I'm not as nervous as I was, er, yesterday. If any of you have any advice for keeping calm and collected during exams that would be great!

ReplyDeletekeeping calm and relaxed.. oh i like to have my place clean- so that my mind can be clear as well. if it's messy then i can't concentrate.. or then i have something else that i can do instead of studying(cleaning..which always feels more fun when you know you gotta study.)
and drink lots of water and treat yourself to some snacks and small breaks from time to time..

ReplyDeleteMmm my exams were nicely spread out over 3 weeks, within equal intervals, so I only ever worried about the one exam when I studied. I'm not too much of a sucker for multitasking, so it would literally be: study english, study english, study english, english exam, burn all english related study notes, NEXT. rinse, wash, repeat. but I guess again, it depends on the damn exam times! x

ReplyDeleteTo make myself clam I usually study in a place that will not have many distractions. A tidy table with just the things I need helps me too. I had this place where I used to study that had all my magazines/books and that didn't help me lol
Have some time to stop studying a little and eat something. It usually works with me.

ReplyDeleteHm, ich lerne auch am besten an einem Ort, wos nicht viele Ablenkungen gibt und leise ist. Außerdem brauch ich immer was zu trinken bei mir (wenn ich erst wo hinrennen muss lenkt mich wieder irgendwas ab) und ich sitz ungern mit dem Kopf zum Fenster, das, was draußen ist, ist immer viel interessanter als das, was man lernen sollte ;)
