Had the day off today because I didn't have an exam. So I lolled about, listening to We Are Scientists and watching Skins (just started). Not sure what I think of it yet. I mean the humor is quite different from the US series I usually watch, but change is good. And the actor of Tony changed so little since 'About A Boy', with the same exotic-alienish eyebrows (in a good way though). Hope you had a cottoncandy sweet monday.

a focus on accessories

My favourite pieces at the moment from Forever21, Beijing, Bijou Brigitte, HM and Primark.

I organized my accessories today because a) I felt like procrastinating efficiently and b) I got so effing sick of not being able to find anything, like, ever. So now everything I never wear is in a plastic bag, either to sell or to give to my sister when she's back from her ski camp. One asian's loss is another's gain, I'd say.

Today was absolutely freeezing and when I finally got home and had a hot bath, my toes starting hurting so much. What's up with that? I only take biology at standard level in school so no judging haha. Anyway, these are just some pictures from going out that I never knew how to incorporate into a post, but I guess here they are. Mashed together randomly and posted months later. Kind of like how my mind works. I always read about useless stuff (like on MLIA, which btw is the most awesome site ever) and it's just for fun until one day some of the info actually comes in handy. And then people get pretty impressed by my incredibly random knowledge.

A bohemian party-girl inspired shoot I did this summer with Raffaela. Really like how it turned out, and Belinda was such an incredible poser. If you have any more ideas, just email me or leave a comment :) Anyway, just some quick photos of my sister and I taken around the time of my birthday. She has such straight and thick hair. Kind of makes me wish I never got bangs or got ridiculously hard-to-tie-up layers in my hair, especially since my hair grows even slower than my friend Garlan walks (he is unbelieeevably slow haha. But absolutely adorable so that's alright). I also got a lot of sweet packages lately full of pretty things, and also had a little shopping spree today, so they'll be a lot more stuff to post about. Kisses.

Knits and Patterns

1. This has got to be my favourite piece this winter. You can't see the whole thing but it's a waterfall cardigan (from Zara) and it seriously goes with absolutely everything.
2. I've been slipping into these summer shorts at the end of each day. They're so comfy! They also remind me of how amazing this coming summer is going to be. Seriously can't wait.
3. Wearing denim shirt from H+M and knee high socks courtesy of American Apparel. Is it my asian eyesight or are there two of me? teehee.

Stay calm and carry on

• A scheduled post (shameful I know, and with bullet points no less) simply because I won't be around for the next four days at least. These are just some test portraits my sister took for me when i first got my new lens. She's getting good!
• My interviews with CIRCUS Bookazine (available in english and german) and Radio FM4 are both out. I think one of them is quite embarrassing, but I'll let you read it and then decide for yourself :)
• For future reference (i.e. when my exams end) it'd be really useful for me to know what you want to see on my blog. Is it outfits? Recent buys? My photography? My friend suggested a series where I put together looks that cost under a certain amount. Tell me what you think!

Officially legal now

I just turned eighteen. I'm not sure why, but I just never wanted to turn 18. It seems like such a solid and final number. The end of an era, the closing of an age that contained childhood, adolescence, teenage fusses and everything in between. There was drama, friendship, love and infatuation; tears, overwhelming emotions and overriding obsessions. But nothing serious and nothing daunting. Just a freedom and seemingly endless youth. But 18 marks the end of too many adrenaline-filled years and I think it's funny that I'm an adult now. I don't think I'll ever think of myself as an adult.

I know this is slightly more depressing than your average "OMG I'm 18!!" posts, and I'm sorry for not updating and then posting this crap. It's just been some tough long days full of studying and I think my brain is holding too much redundant shizzle. Talk to you again when I'm sane, lovelies. kisses.

Three bags I bought recently.  Today my interview aired on FM4 radio in Austria and i caught a bit of it. my voice is so weird haha. Anyway my eyelids are drooping like crazy now after a full day of studying and preparing for my mock exams next week, so I'm off for some much needed zzz's.

Thanks for wishing me luck on the radio interview. It went quite well but would've been better if I had babbled less and refrained from using the word saggy at some point. I was asked mostly about my blog and KNEON Magazine, but there were also some questions about future plans and my personal style. I was given some big earphones and had to speak into one of those stereotypical radio mics, and when I talked I could immediately hear how I would sound like on air. Not sure if I'll tell you when it airs though, since I'm fairly certain I sound like a massive noob! But in all sincerity, a huge shout out to Gerlinde, who did the interviewing (and has the loveliest voice). Thank you so much!

After this post, a lot of readers requested more school outfits so here's one from today. I opted for some contrast in proportions and wore this poncho sweater thing. Anyway, I'm so sorry for the lack of updates! School just started and I've been hyperventilating every half a second or so because I just have so much to do. On a more positive note, I'm headed to my first radio interview at ORF tomorrow, a local radio and TV channel. I'll defo keep you posted about how that goes.

Granny Florals

This pullover is one of those blatantly H&M pieces that probably anyone could identify. I like the floral print though, it's so granny-chic! At the moment I'm kind of wishing for hair like this or this, but just thinking about how long it's going to take me gets me all in a jiffy.

Yes yes yes! The first issue of KNEON is now available in print right here. If you're a fan and not broke, then I really don't see a reason why you shouldn't order a copy. Plus there's international shipping for people like me who die when they read 'US only' or whatever BS. Anyway, I'm in the midst of revising the second issue (while listening to The Runaways soundtrack) so that'll be ready for print soonish as well.
