It's simply beautiful outside today, so I opted for some creamy pieces to lighten up my otherwise bleak and black choices lately. My sister is adamantly against these tights because apparently they look creepy. Thoughts? I've started to organize my iTunes library head to toe. You know, getting rid of songs I always skip over during Shuffle and all that. I've also regenerated my love for Avril Lavigne (in the earlier Under-My-Skin days). She's simply amazing. Did I tell you how I had the biggest music crush on her ever? I even talked like her and wore ties all the time. I'm kind of glad that phase is over, but it's seriously props to her that I can tie a perfect tie.

A very on-the-go outfit I wore out today for studying, lunching with nat and then getting a haircut. Photos depict my hair in pre-cut stage. It was so nice out today - completely ass-freezing, but very sunny and happy-making. Anyway, thank you so much to those of you who gave me so many great skin tips in the previous post! I now have a mini handbook for achieving better skin. You're just all amazing.

What I wore to a girl's night out on Friday. I really can't be bothered dressing up these days, especially since I've been having a bad-skin week. The condition of my skin is directly proportionally to my level of contentment with the world. You can bet I'll be one of those Asian hoarders buying trolley-fulls of La Mer when I'm older. Do you have any tips for acne, dry skin, or uneven skin tone? Because that would make my sunday. Enjoy yours!

A school outfit from earlier this week that wasn't quite appropriate for the frosty weather, but whatever. Today I spent the whole day studying gross math and reading Waiting for Godot. Brain feels weirdly tight. Loudly blasting Crystal Castles isn't quite helping. Oh and this is Nat, one of the few people who I can't live without. Isn't she a beauty?

Same top as in the last post, but worn in a more innocent way. It's definitely not warm enough to wear this outside yet, but I just looove this top so much that I'm wearing it non-stop at home. Truly a perfect piece. Anyway, enjoy this much commercialized valentine's day!
This has got to be the best I've ever seen Alexa. Who else can pull of a full-body jumpsuit with foxes so elegantly? Also absolutely loving her new hair. My style crush on her has bloomed beyond limits.

I came home unbelievably tired today, but I just had to photograph these two new pieces I picked up from the h&m spring collection. One is an incredibly heavyweight embellished jacket. Not sure i can handle walking more than 10 minutes in it, but it's quite retro-looking and i love how it can glam things up. The second is a white crop top from H&M's up-and-coming Conscious Collection. It's seriously made to be worn at festivals in the summer with ripped jeans shorts, and it's super comfortable as well. The realization that I still have two exams this week kicked in, so today I was at the national library all day cramming in biology. Had a lovely weekend though. These are some of my latest makeup pick-ups: Lancome bronzer and Guerlain highlighting concealer. And a little peak at my scents. I actually only wear little Daisy nowadays. Lola is way too strong for me, but I keep it anyway because the bottle is just so sweet.

Met up with my sunshine Nat today for coffee, shopping and cookie frappes, and it really cheered me up. I've just been feeling strangely down lately and things all seem rather bleak and blech (think the mood of this song). Anyway, how was your saturday? And what cheers you up when you're down? x

Today was just immensely stressful. Spent the whole morning running errands in town and had to go to school to make some canvases since my head's been exploding with ideas. Anyway, just a quick update with photos from yesterday - including my current makeup favourites. The eyeshadow is in Tempting Lustre (a shimmery bronze that is brilliant for everyday) and the lipstick is Cremesheen Modesty. Both birthday gifts from my sweet sweet friends.
And thanks so much for the incredible responses to the last post. I'm so sorry I haven't been able to get back at comments and emails! I've been studying a lot and I barely have an hour on the computer these days. I have read all of them though, and it's so nice to read what you're all like. Please accept this clip from Despicable Me (haven't watched the movie? Watch it now!!) as my apology. I think the film company should pay me; I've been telling absolutely everyone to watch it haha.

What I wore to write my english exam today, which wasn't so bad. My korean-pop-loving dongo helped me snap these photos out on the cold football field. Little kids with fierce kicks came on halfway through so we departed swiftly. Now I'm listening to White Lies while contemplating what i should do with my free eight days until my next exam. Mini holiday? I think so! Anyway, I just can't believe I finally managed to put together an outfit post after what seems like forever. I know it's nothing special, but it'll get me warmed up. Not literally.
