a new world, a new start

Today I said goodbye to someone very important to me. Not indefinitely, never forever, but it felt very hollow nonetheless. She's on her way to the other side of the world now, off to a new start. That'll be me in less than a months time, in the other direction though, and I really just can't wait.

frequency 2011.

aand i'm back. three days worth of intense musical awesomeness has gotten me talking at a slightly higher decibel, and i seem to have somehow lost three kilos and picked up the annoying habit of forgetting about lunch. I managed to meet the cuteness Madeleine from dariadaria and of course the ever-so-artsy Sabinna and David (who you've already met here), and like twenty people from my ex-school.

















Best performance awards go to: Kele, Two Door Cinema Club, The Ting Tings, and Panic! At the Disco... I still tear up at night when i think about Simple Plan's absence. I'm really just a high school rock girl at heart. (Btw this was frequency last year)

the height of summer

today was a brilliant day of sunshine. lunched in a beautiful garden with my dad and sister, and paddled on the donau for hours and hours to jamaican tunes and homemade pizza with friends. it's so typical for vienna to reach its summer peak mid-august.








And i'm off to frequency festival tomorrow! The most drool/headbang-worthy lineup awaits me (The Kooks, Hurts, Jimmy Eat World, Two Door Cinema club, Nero, the Bloody Beetroots, Chase & Status..) I'll be gone three days. I'll be back with too many photos. And for each day i'm gone i've scheduled a post! (just to get those annoying single photos and stuff out of the way you see, hehe).
