Moving again

1. A still from a film of Edinburgh I made in May
2. Taken by Phil-Simon Buendia in Vienna

Starting September, I'll be studying History of Art at the University of Edinburgh. If you've been following the blog throughout this tumultuous year for me, you'll know that I didn't make it into Oxford, that I went to my insurance university and that it wasn't really the place for me. But I knew what I wanted - and what I didn't want - from the get go, so I worked my ass off, reapplied, and now my Restart will officially happen in 28 days. Sometimes things happen for a reason, but someone recently told me that it's also about how hard you work, and having a goal and aim and your priorities straight in life. So work/nerd it out until you get what you want! Always. Never settle.

  5. Congrats, Vicky! I can't imagine how much work it must have taken to go through the application process all over again during your freshman year. I wish you all the best, and come visit me in NYC sometime! :)
