Remember the elaborate styling session I mentioned in the last post? I gave Lulu free creative reign over what she could costume me up as, and we ended up playing with her plummed vintage cape that she got at a theatre vintage store, with golden accessories that made me feel like a royal bird-pirate.
On another note, after watching The Hunger Games and absolutely loving it and watching it three times over (yeah, three...obsession doesn't even begin to describe it), I started reading the books. And I swear I haven't been this addicted to a series since Harry Potter!!! Twilight was also good before the movie hype started, all these haters showed up, which dragged the name of the book down. So if I even mention Twilight, people will assume I'm on the Bieber-Cyrus team, which is not necessarily untrue, since I loved her movie The Last Song (okay, so Liam Hemsworth did kind of help that part) and Bieber actually makes some decent music now... but anyway.
THE HUNGER GAMES. I've power-read my way through two books now, waiting for the third to arrive. And they are just amazing. Everything is perfect, the characters are so realistic, and I have this odd wish that I could be running around in the wilderness doing necessary things that help my mortality rather than worry about certain things, which probably aren't that significant/important when you look at the bigger picture.
So. Note to self: stop squinting.
